“Nature feeds a woman’s soul. It rarely gives direct answers, but it always nourishes, soothes, and waters the spirit, so that eventually growth occurs.” – Joan Anderson (from A Weekend to Change Your Life)
I’m heading back to Cape Cod. Deep cleansing breath.
I’m convinced that the beaches of Cape Cod are the nearest thing to heaven this side of the pearly gates. The banner on this blog is from a picture I took at Marconi Beach, and the picture below is another view of the same stretch of Atlantic Ocean sand. (Double-click on it for a larger view.) I am drawn there to rest, to think, to plan, to pause, to reenergize, to center.
So I’m off for five days of relaxation and reflection. I’ll be on the road on Wednesday, May 14, and staying on the Cape until Tuesday, May 20. My home-away-from-home is once again the lovely B&B called Brewster by the Sea. It’s located on the Bay side of the Cape, and it’s central to many of the places I like to go. Donna and Byron have a fabulous property, and serve the most scrumptious breakfasts. Here’s a link to a view of the room I’ll be staying in, the lovely Belle Suite, where I’m sure I’ll feel like a queen. Byron has wired the place for wi-fi connections, so I’ll be able to share my activities and discoveries. I hope you’ll follow along.

Hi Cathy,
Hi Cathy,
the b&b looks fabulous! Sorry, I started to write my first comment and it got sent by accident. Have a great time walking along that beautiful beach tonight. Talk to you soon. maryellen
Hey Cathy;
You should retire and write a book. Your blog could be a best seller. It truly is beautiful judging by the pictures.
Talk to you when you get back.
Veronica
Well, it sounds absolutely perfect up Noth this week. You are actually making me look forward to the dreaded Cape Cod family vacation at the end of March! Hope the weather holds out! It’s pouring here.

Hey Cathy,
First of all, I just want to say sorry for not commenting on this earlier.
The place really sounds amazing, and it’s wonderful that you were able to go! Next time, we should definitely go up there, lol!
